An important map of the state of Kentucky and adjoining territories published only 3 years after statehood .


Showing the Ohio, Cumberland and Tennessee rivers. The Western Territories are in the upper left(now Ohio and Indiana), the South Western Territories are in the lower left. Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina  are to the south.

Note the cities of Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Nashville(TN), and Clarksville(TN). Boonesboro is also shown, it was established by Daniel Boone as a fort.

The towns of Franklinville and Lystra are shown on the map but were never built.






Condition: Good, expected browning on edges and minor tears on edges.
